Ghost Peppers are collectibles in Pizza Tower

Appears In[]

Behavior[]

While in the Ghost Transformation, Peppino can collect the Ghost Peppers to increase his speed, with the maximum number of Ghost Peppers the player can consume being 3. After consuming 1 Ghost Pepper, Ghost Peppino can kill enemies and can destroy Breakable Blocks, 2 Ghost Peppers simply increases Ghost Peppino's speed, and after consuiming 3 Ghost Peppers, Ghost Peppino can destroy Ghost Blocks.

The Noise's Ghost Transformation functions similarly to Peppino's when interacting with the Ghost Peppers, however, instead of simply increasing his speed; consuming 1 Ghost Pepper allows Ghost Noise to do a dash attack which can destroy Breakable Blocks and defeat enemies, 2 Ghost Peppers extends the duration of said dash attack, and after 3 Ghost Peppers, Ghost Noise can break Ghost Blocks with the dash attack.

Trivia[]

  • The Ghost Pepper is the only Transformation specific collectible.

When playing as The Noise, using his spin attack while in the Pepper Pizza Transformation will cause fireballs to shoot out at nearby enemies.

The Pepper Pizza Transformation can be removed with the Free Milk Stand, which is next to the Lap 2 Portal.

Trivia[]

  • Pepper Pizza was planned to appear in Deep-Dish 9, but was replaced with Rocket transformation. It was brought back in Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator as a new transformation.
  • Originally, Pepper Pizza transformation had a completely different effect as it would give the player automatic Mach 3 upon pressing the dash button. The effect would wear off after some time passed. It was never implemented in any of the builds, and was shown only in the Thing of the week 1 video.
  • In the Rework and Eggplant Build, instead of Pepper Pizza in Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator, the player will get a SUPER Jetpack which works similar to the Jetpack gimmick but you can use it any time similar to the Pepper Pizza Transformation, and it also uses a placeholder Noise jetpack sprite.
  • Pepper Pizza is currently the only transformation with a theme song, that being On The Rocks.
    • However, in past builds, the Knight Transformation actually had a musical theme of its own, as well.
  • The old version of the Pepper Pizza is first found in the files of Bossv0, the build that introduced the Dragon Lair.
  • This functions similar to the Screw Attack and Space Jump power ups from Super Metroid.
