Game Progression refers to the percentage at the file select titled "Tower Status", in Pizza Tower, determined by various factors contributing to overall completion.
Percentage System[]
The percentage of the completion is based on the progress of each main objective in the game:
- Toppins collected (95 in total, grants a total of 32% (32.09%) towards the Tower Status)
- Secrets accessed (57 in total, grants a total of 19% (19.52%) towards the Tower Status)
- Tower Secret Treasures collected (19 in total, grants a total of 6% (6.51%) towards the Tower Status)
- Levels beaten (20 in total, grants a total of 6% (6.85%) towards the Tower Status)
- Bosses beaten (5 in total, grants a total of 1% (1.71%) towards the Tower Status)
- C, B, A and S Ranks obtained (96 in total, collecting a higher rank also grants the lower ranks as well towards the Tower Status, grants a total of 32% (32.53%) towards the Tower Status)
- Completing all 72 Chef Tasks and getting a P-rank in all stages (grants an additional 1% to the Tower Status, bringing the final percentage to 101%)
Each main objective completed, of which there are a total of 292, grants ~0.3% (0.3425%) towards the Tower Status, which is then rounded down to the nearest percent to get the final Tower Status.
Peppino’s Final Judgement[]
After beating the game with Peppino, credits are shown, after which a final ranking for the entire file is given. These rankings are given by meeting certain percentage criteria in the Tower Status. The judgement can be improved by completing the game more, however some are only given if the game was completed fast enough.
You Suck![]
Peppino sarcastically smiles and gives a double thumbs-up. This ranking is earned for getting anywhere below 50%. The background is a combination of all the letters of the words "YOU SUCK", and Peppino's sarcastic smiling face.
Confused?[]
Peppino stands next to a Cheeseslime, pointing at it and questioning the player if they think that not killing enemies gives points. This ranking is earned for getting anywhere between 50% to 60%. The background is a combination of question marks and X marks in black and white, the word WHAT?, the word UH?, and Cheeseslimes. This would've originally been given for killing as little enemies as possible (as is shown in the judgement itself and Peppino's speech bubble), but after judgements became based on Tower Status, this judgement became an orphaned punchline.
That’s the One, Officer!![]
Peppino, bruised and with tears spreading from his eyes, points at the player, yelling for their arrest, as a Hamkuff glares at them from afar. This ranking is earned by getting 61% to 71% throughout a run of the game. The background is a combination of singular stars, multiple stars, a hashtag, a band-aid, the word OUCH!, and two faces expressing agony from Peppino.
This is the most common final judgement for a player to get on their first playthrough. This judgement is also regularly mistaken to be awarded for hurting Peppino a lot due to the latter's bruises, and this was originally the case, but after the judgement system was changed to be based on Tower Status, this judgement was changed to follow the Tower Status percentage and became an orphaned punchline.
No Judgement[]
Peppino shrugs at the screen, having no clue what ranking the player deserves. This is given for getting anywhere between 72% to 82% on a file. The backgrounds is a combination of various dots, circles, and lines differentiating in shape and size.
Not Bad... Not Bad at All![]
Peppino gives a comically large thumbs up towards the screen with a confident grin on his face. This ranking is earned for beating the game with a tower status anywhere between 83% to 94%. The background is a combination of a thumbs-up, a face with a toothy smile, and the words NICE, GOOD, YOU DID IT!, and WOOH!.
WOW[]
Peppino strikes a pose with a shocked expression, excited about the momentous occasion. This ranking is given at a percentage of 95% or higher. The background is a combination of the various letters of the word "WOW" in yellow letters.
You are Quick as Hell![]
Peppino stands far off, tired and sweating. This ranking is given for beating the game in under 2 hours with a tower status below 95% (getting 95% or above will give the "Holy Shit!!" ranking instead). The background is a combination of a clock saying "00:00", a drawing of a man running, a puff of air, an arrow, a black and white checkered flag, and a clock.
Holy Shit!![]
Peppino stares comically shocked at a computer monitor, amazed and in awe at the player’s accomplishments. This is the ranking given if the player reaches the ending for the first time in under 4 hours and with a tower status of 95% or higher, making it the highest judgement in the game. The background is a combination of the words "HOLY" and "MOLY", two long eyeballs, a cloud, a halo and wings, and singular and multiple combinations of flying and non-flying piles of poop.
The Reviews are IN!![]
After beating the game with The Noise, credits are shown, after which a final ranking for the entire file is given. These rankings are given by meeting certain percentage criteria in the Tower Status. The Review can be improved by completing the game more, however some are only given if the game was completed fast enough.
If youre looking for the audio of this, the page is seen here:The Reviews Are In!!/Audio.
It's Noisette's Fault![]
A frantic Noise is pointing at Noisette and passing the blame to her, while Noisette sticks out her tongue in retaliation. The background is made up of poorly drawn Noisette faces. This is considered the worst rating, and is given for getting anywhere below 50%.
I'm Going to Kill You[]
The player is treated to a closeup of Noise's eyes as he gives them a stare, threatening to "terminate" the player. This screen completely obstructs the background. This is given for getting between 50% and 60%. (The ranking title had to be censored due to referencing a threat that violated Fandom's terms of service, even though the image looks so much worse here. The original image can be found here.)
Yeesh.[]
The Noise is shown grimacing and tugging at his collar with his finger. This is given for getting anywhere between 61% to 71% on a file. The background is composed of the letters of the word "Yeesh".
I Blame That Guy...[]
The Noise is trying to pass the blame to Gerome, much to Noisette's disappointment. This is given for getting anywhere between 72% to 82% on a file. The backgrounds is a combination of various caps of Gerome, Upside down buckets of Water in puddles, Broomsticks, and Gerome faces.
Could Have Been Better...[]
The Noise is looking and smiling at the player, with his right arm shrugging, and his left arm giving a thumbs down. This ranking is earned for beating the game with a tower status anywhere between 83% to 94%. The background is a combination of two different disappointed Noise faces, "Try Again?", "Ok", "Ok...", "-" and "...".
I TAKE ALL THE CREDIT, of course![]
The Noise is shown rather proud of himself, with a smirk on his face. This ranking is given at a percentage of 95% or higher. The background is a combination 3 different smiling noise faces, first place trophies, gold medals, "noise", "NOISE" and "THE NOISE".
Slow Down, Nerd![]
The Noise puts his hands up, motioning at the player to slow down and take it easy. This ranking is given for beating the game in under 2 hours with a tower status below 95% (getting 95% or above will give the "You Dun' It" ranking instead). The background is a combination of a nerdy face, another nerdy face that looks like Dr Bad Breakfast, an Microcomputer displaying the Noise's face, "2+2=", a game controller, a fast forward symbol, a book, and an alarm-clock.
You Dun' It!!![]
The Noise is seen wearing green glasses and riding on his skateboard, with pizza in hand. The background is made up of crowns, shades, pizzas, skateboards, peace signs, and the phrase "You dun' it!". This is the ranking given if the player reaches the ending for the first time in under 4 hours and with a tower status of 95% or higher, making it the highest.
Trivia[]
- The "You Suck!" image has been in the files of the game for a long time since Early Test Build in a single image form, rather than being animated.
- The "You Suck!" sprite is most-likely inspired by the "Perfect" screen from Wario Land 3 appearing after completing the full game.
- At one point in the development, the rankings the player would receive were final, and to get a better one the player would need to start a new save file. A separate judgement exists for this as well, that went unused. It was later brought back, although textless, in the Halloween update when you try to leave Tricky Treat using the Ghost transformation.
- At one point in development, the final judgement was not chosen by the Tower Status, and instead there were different requirements for each judgement:
- "That's the One, Officer!!" was supposed to be given after getting hit a very huge amount of times.
- "Confused?" was supposed to be given after completing the game, while killing the least amount of enemies.
- "No Judgement" was supposed to be given after completing the game without receiving any other rank requirement.
- The Pizza Boy image in the menu changes depending on the current tower status percent of the selected save file. This, however, is not related to the final judgement. Here's the list of the percentages:
- 0-14% - Happy;
- 15-28% - Sad;
- 29-42% - Angry;
- 43-57% - Mad;
- 58-71% - Insane;
- 72-85% - Handsome;
- 86-99% - Skeleton;
- 100% - John;
- 101% - Golden John.
- Despite being linked to the true ending, players can get to 101% Tower Status completion without receiving the John Approval badge
- The absolute minimum percentage required to beat the game is 37% (37.67%) - this requires completing 19 stages and all 5 bosses with D ranks, and collecting 86 Toppins; taking at least 9 hits on the first four bosses and not obtaining any secrets or Tower Secret Treasures. Meanwhile, the absolute minimum percentage required to get the true ending is 44% (44.52%) - the extra ~7% is gained by collecting all 19 of the Tower Secret Treasures, and completing the remaining stage.
- If a save file is modified to have a final judgement which does not exist, "Confused?" will be displayed on the save file in the main menu.
- On Peppino's "You Suck!" sprite, there is an error in which the shading on his hands is transparent instead of the intended brown.
- Modifying a save file to have a negative Tower Status will cause the Pizza Boy icon to cycle through all possible icons before stopping on its "Happy" icon when selecting the save file.
- The percentage will also be displayed without the minus (for example, -63 will be displayed as 63).
- In most of the reviews, an audio of an audience booing can be heard, however, for "I TAKE ALL THE CREDIT, of course!" and "You Dun' It!!!", the audience is instead heard applauding.
- During the Noise's Tower completion counter, a drum roll can be heard until the counter stops, however, if the counter somehow stays at 0, the drum roll will still be heard during the review screen.

Scrapped Judgement[]
This judgement was originally planned to be added to the full release of Pizza Tower. It would have appeared if the player had already gotten a final judgement on the current save file and tried to get another one. This was scrapped because the developers thought it would turn people away from continuing playing.
It shows Peppino menacingly staring at the player with an expressionless, threatening face as the only color scheme is red and black.
It's now reused as an easter egg in the Halloween update when the player attempts to escape Tricky treat as the Ghost transformation, but without the text.
