Chef Tasks

Chef Tasks are in-game achievements unlocked in Pizza Tower. There are 72 tasks in total, 2 extra from the Tricky Treat event. Each task is separated in-game between each floor. After completing all tasks of a floor, the floor's Chef Tasks door turns golden. Chef Tasks are unlocked per save file, but the first time a task is completed, the equivalent Steam achievement is simultaneously unlocked.

Completing every chef task (except for P-rank chef tasks) unlocks the Goldemanne clothes.

Tower Lobby achievements[]

John Gutted	John Gutter	Destroy all the dead john blocks in John Gutter.	This shows a John Block with a pained expression after being wrecked with a wrecking ball. Dead John Blocks appear across most of the level, they take the appearance of a small to tall block with Pillar John's face over it. All of them can be found on the player's main path, and some are required to be destroyed.
Let's Make This Quick		Finish John Gutter in under two minutes.	This shows a Peppino rushing at Mach Speeds, therefore it is called "Let's make this quick" There is a togglable timer in the settings, which shows how much time the player spent on the level, if timer mode is set to "per level".
Primate Rage		Get a combo of 99 or more in John Gutter.	This shows a extremely Infuriated Peppino, Slamming his fist on the ground. Lap 2 is required for this, and all enemies must be defeated.
Shining Armor	Pizzascape	Get to all the priests without bumping into a wall once in Pizzascape.	This shows Peppino in his Knight Transformation with shine effects on his sword. There are five priests in total that must be reached. With the Knight transformation, jumping and then performing a Down Thrust can be used to stop sliding. This makes getting the achievement significantly easier.
Spoonknight		Parry ten Forknights in Pizzascape.	This shows a Forknight carrying a extremely large spoon, rather than a fork. Therefore, the achievement name is called "Spoonknight" Using the taunt when Peppino is about to get touched by a Forknight will activate the parry. Stunning the Forknights and then parrying them helps to completing it quicker.
Spherical		Kill another enemy while in the ball form in Pizzascape.	This shows Peppino in his ball form. The ball form in Pizzascape is gained from being attacked by a Pepperoni Goblin.
Thrill Seeker	Ancient Cheese	Finish Ancient Cheese without getting hurt by an explosion.	This shows Peppino in a different attire, avoiding a extremely close call against a large explosion. Entering the second Secret Eye or using enemies' bombs is not recommended.
Volleybomb		Kill a rat using a bomb dropped by an enemy in Ancient Cheese.	This shows a Pizzabox Goblin planning to throw a Bomb that looks like a volleyball to a Stupid Rat, who seems to have tears in his eyes. Bombs from Pizza Box Goblins must be used.
Delicacy		Make more than forty one sets of cheese platforms crumble in Ancient Cheese.	This shows Peppino in Fancy Attire (Without his hat) holding a plate of cheese, or yet, Fancy Cheese. This requires the player to make a total of 349 cheese platforms crumble. This can be done in the first room.
Very Very Hot Sauce	Bloodsauce Dungeon	Finish Bloodsauce Dungeon without touching lava once.	This shows The Noise trying to grab a pizza slice, but little did he know, he did not see Peppino who put extremely hot sauce on the pizza, as Peppino himself can be seen with a smug expression. Skipping the second secret is recommended due to it containing pools of lava.
Eruption Man		During escape, go up with the superjump for more than two seconds in Bloodsauce Dungeon.	This shows Peppino Superjumping over some exploding lava. This can be done in a vertical hallway, connecting the light blue and dark red areas of the level.
Unsliced Pizzaman		Finish Bloodsauce Dungeon without getting hurt by a pizza cutter.	This shows Peppino as a Pizza, barely dodging a Pizza Cutter. Skipping the third secret is highly recommended due to the abundance of pizza cutters.
The Critic	Pepperman	Defeat Pepperman without getting hurt.	This shows Pepperman's Skull. This achievement's name appears only after defeating the boss.
S Ranked #1	Tower Lobby (Floor 1)	Get all S Ranks in World 1.	This shows a giant S against a brick background. Boss ranks do not count. P ranks do count.
P Ranked #1	Tower Lobby (Floor 1)	Get all P Ranks in World 1.	This shows a giant P against a brick background. Boss ranks do not count. Appears in the Chef Tasks room only after unlocking the achievement.

Western District achievements[]

Peppino's Rain Dance	Oregano Desert	Reactivate a totem by dancing with the mach dash in Oregano Desert.	This shows Peppino doing the Rain Dance, complete with music notes. This can be done by finding a deactivated totem and drifting around it a few times with the mach dash.
Unnecessary Violence		Kill all of the clerk sausages in the pizzamarts.	This shows Peppino with a angry expression looking at a Clerk Sausage. He is either intending on killing or severly hurting the Clerk. There are exactly 5 Pizzamarts, 2 in the escape sequence and 3 in the main level.
Alien Cow		Dont get hit by a single cow in Oregano Desert.	This shows an alien cow with its owner, a Grey farmer. One jump is enough to avoid a cow.
Ghosted	Wasteyard	Avoid getting touched by the John Ghost in Wasteyard.	This shows John Ghost upset with a broken heart while Peppino is whistling unaware. John Ghost only appears after exiting the room with Pillar John.
Pretend Ghost		Kill 20 or more enemies as a ghost in Wasteyard.	This shows Peppino dressed as a Ghost. The last enemy as a ghost appears in the escape sequence. 2nd secret is highly recommended.
Alive and Well		Surf every corpse in Wasteyard.	This shows a framed picture of Peppino and the corpse alive. The last corpse is inside the last room in the escape sequence. There are 10 corpses total.
No One Is Safe	Fun Farm	Kill three unreachable enemies at once with the supertaunt in Fun Farm.	This shows a screaming Peasanto about to be zapped by Peppino. This can be done during Pizza Time, in a room with four Peasantos under the floor. The supertaunt becomes available after reaching a combo of 10.
Cube Menace		Find and destroy the Mort Cube.	This shows Cube Face, the final boss of Mort the Chicken, alongside a cube-shaped Mort, a dice and a pink cube. The Mort Cube is located under the ledge in the first room with Mort Hooks above bottomless pits.
Good Egg		Complete Fun Farm while avoiding getting hurt with Mort on you.	This shows Peppino as an egg, with a halo floating on him. Falling into a pit while Mort is on the player counts as getting hurt despite not showing as damage on the end level screen. Getting Mort overwritten by firebutt does not count.
Non-Alcoholic	Fast Food Saloon	Destroy nearly every beer bottle in Fastfood Saloon.	This shows Peppino with a broken beer bottle, ready to assault a Pineacool with said beer bottle. There are a handful of bottles in the Pizza Portal room that can be missed if it is not entered.
Already Pressed		Activate each button only once in Fastfood Saloon.	This shows a button reading bills as Peppino runs away. The buttons in the secret areas are not required. Activating the button multiple times before it runs out the first time does not count against the task. During the escape sequence in the room with the key the player must take the ladder down to avoid touching the room's button twice.
Royal Flush		Touch every single card in Fastfood Saloon.	This shows cards depicting Gustavo, Brick, Pizzaface, Peppino, an a pizza slice. The cards in the secret areas are not required.
The Ugly	The Vigilante	Defeat The Vigilante without getting hurt.	This shows The Vigilante's remains. This achievement's name appears only after defeating the boss.
S Ranked #2	Western District (Floor 2)	Get all S Ranks in World 2.	This shows a giant S on a rocky background. Boss ranks do not count. P ranks do count.
P Ranked #2	Western District (Floor 2)	Get all P Ranks in World 2.	This shows a giant P on a rocky background. Boss ranks do not count. Appears in the Chef Tasks room only after unlocking the achievement.

Vacation Resort achievements[]

X		Uncover all the treasure guys in Crust Cove.	This shows Peppino and Gustavo dressed as pirates, with Peppino pointing at a Treasure Guy. There are 7 in total. at the beginning of the level. at the beginning of the second room, at the top of the left cliff. near Tower Secret Treasure door, at the top of the platform. during the first Captain Pizza Goblin room, below a Toppin cage. in a pit before the barrel after the long water slide section and Cannon Goblinbots. at the end of the long Cannon Goblinbot room, on top of the platform up the ladder. during Pizza Time, near the second priest the player encounters.
Demolition Expert		Complete Crust Cove without getting hit by an explosion.	This shows Peppino in heavy duty explosion equipment as explosions appear around him. Skipping the third Secret is recommended.
Bee Nice	Gnome Forest	Stand next to a bee and taunt in Gnome Forest.	This shows Peppino frightened by a Gustavo Bee. Super Taunting also counts.
Lumberjack		Destroy every wood block in Gnome Forest.	This shows a nervous tree about to be chopped down by Gustavo. The Lap 2 room contains wood blocks.
Bullseye		Kill a noise goblin with his own arrow in Gnome Forest.	This Show Peppino with a grin stealing a Noise Goblin's Bow, Said Noise Goblin is upset about this. Parrying the arrow will reflect it back at the noise goblin.
Turbo Tunnel	Deep-Dish 9	Avoid hitting the ceiling during the room right after the John Pillar in Deep Dish Nine.	This shows Peppino as an olive. Avoid hitting the roof whilst under the effect of the Anti-gravitational olive. The achievement will unlock after successfully ascending the vertical hallway. Using the olive is optional, as Mach dashing up the walls will count too.
Meteor man		Kill 5 UFOlives in a single bodyslam in Deep Dish Nine	This shows Peppino as a wrestler with a meteor for a head. This can be done in the third room of the first planet section, which contains a vertical line of five U.F.Olives.
Blast'Em Asteroids		Destroy all asteroids in Deep Dish Nine.	This shows a depiction of Asteroids, with a pizza slice as the ship. There is one hidden asteroid that blocks the entrance to the third secret.
Primo Golfer	Golf	Get the highest rank in the courses of Golf.	This shows Peppino nervously looking at a bunch of burgers, with a Greaseball showing a thumbs up Sign. Obtain a Primo Burg' in every course. This means getting the greaseball into the goal without hitting him more than a specific amount of times (Exact number can be seen on the HUD, there is a sign saying "PRIMO BURG' = number").
Nice Shot		Kill three or more enemies in a single stroke in Golf.	This shows Greasball as a flaming hotrod devil.
Helpful Burger		Get a burger enemy to hit the ball inside the goal in Golf.	This shows a Burger Golfer with a trophy as confetti rains down. This achievement can be obtained on the Soda Course. At the end of the course, have a Burger Golfer hit the Greaseball towards a Big Cheese who will then throw the greaseball into the net. It is also possible to grab the burger and crouch to put him down without killing him.
Denoise	The Noise/The Doise	Defeat The Noise without getting hurt.	This shows The Noise/Doise's skull. This achievement's name appears only after defeating the boss.
S Ranked #3	Vacation Resort (Floor 3)	Get all S ranks in World 3.	Boss ranks do not count. P ranks do count.
P Ranked #3	Vacation Resort (Floor 3)	Get all P ranks in World 3.	Boss ranks do not count. Appears in the Chef Tasks room only after unlocking the achievement.

Slum achievements[]

Pan Fried	The Pig City	Find the bacon room.	This shows the Bacon God. Located in the third Taxi room, near the fake taxi. In the ceiling there are bacons sticking out. The player needs to super jump in between them to get into the room.
Strike!		Kill three or more enemies with a single Brick ball in Pig City.	This shows Brick as a bowling ball striking down pins as Gustavo cheers on. The player can do this in the room before the Pillar John room, as there are three Pizza Slugs lined up, however, the player must keep moving to avoid Brick hitting the edge of the screen. An easier way for this is in the room after the prison room, Where you can kill the 3 Shrimp Thugs because they follow the player.
Say Oink!		Take a photo with every Pig City citizen.	This shows a framed picture of Peppino nervously holding a pig baby. The player needs to taunt while each pig citizen is on screen. The dancing ones do not count.
Can't Fool Me	Oh Shit!	Avoid killing any pizzaboy cardboard in Oh Shit!	This shows a Ninja Slice. Disguised Ninja Slices will have the same nose, bow, and tongue color, while regular Pizzaboy cutouts will have a red nose and tongue, but a blue bow. Supertaunting will destroy Pizzaboy cutouts. Getting close to a Pizzaboy cutout will reveal whether it's an actual cutout or a Ninja Slice.
Food Clan		Kill ten ninjas by parrying them in Oh Shit!	This shows Peppino as a karate black belt. The easiest way to do this is to parry the ninja's jumping attack.
Penny Pincher		Avoid getting grabbed by Mr Pinch during the escape sequence of Oh Shit!	This shows Peppino in fancy clothes and smoking a cigar as he holds up a penny. It is recommended to super jump into the door that leads into the tight sewer section of the escape sequence, as it skips a trash jumping section that inevitably results in getting pinched.
Unflattening	Peppibot Factory	Remove the boxed form from each priest at least once in Peppibot Factory.	This shows a priest inflating a Peppino balloon. Getting hurt in the outlet room in the section after Pizza Time will cause the player to lose Boxed Transformation. The player will not be able to get it back and must restart the level to try again. Completing the 3rd secret is required due to otherwise not being able to remove the boxed form from one of the priests.
Whoop This!		Survive the first secret of Peppibot Factory without getting hurt.	This shows Peppino in a Secret Room flipping the bird. The Weenie seems to be unfazed by said bird. All of the Weenies must be defeated before leaving to count.
There Can Be Only One		Destroy every Peppino robot in Peppibot Factory.	This shows Peppino as a Terminator-robot with his skin partially torn off and holding a gun. This includes Lap 2.
Frozen Nuggets	Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator	Free all the frozen birds in Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator.	This shows a flying chicken nugget. These birds are frozen in destroyable ice blocks and the blocks must be destroyed to free them. Blocks containing birds have a special sprite which shows the bird frozen inside.
Season's Greetings		Kill 5 fake santas in Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator.	This shows Santa's skull. Fake Santas can be killed by throwing enemies at them or via Super Taunt. With the Pepper Pizza powerup, attempting to grab enemies will just kill them instead, so super taunting becomes the only option.
Ice Climber		Complete Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator without falling in a pit.	This shows Peppino in a fluffy parka and an eggplant on his head, and in front of a mountain range. Falling into a pit while inside of a secret counts against this achievement.
Faker	Fake Peppino	Defeat Fake Peppino without getting hurt.	The icon is intentionally left blank, as unlike the other bosses whose achievements show their skull, Fake Peppino presumably has no bones due to be a shapeshifter. This achievement's name appears only after defeating the boss.
S Ranked #4	Slum (Floor 4)	Get all S ranks in World 4.	Boss ranks do not count. P ranks do count.
P Ranked #4	Slum (Floor 4)	Get all P ranks in World 4.	Boss ranks do not count. Appears in the Chef Tasks room only after unlocking the achievement.

Staff Only achievements[]

Cross To Bare	Pizzascare	Kill thirty ghosts in Pizzascare.	This shows an Exorcist pointing upwards with a giant cross in the background. The third secret can make up 19 ghost kills in case you missed a lot of ghosts.
Haunted Playground		Avoid getting hurt by the King Ghost's traps in Pizzascare.	This shows the Ghost Knight going down a slide as the weather looks sunny with blue skies.
Skullsplitter		Destroy every single skull block in Pizzascare.	This shows a skull being destroyed by a pizza slice.
And This... Is My Gun On A Stick!	Don't Make A Sound	Kill every chasing monster in the escape section of Don't Make A Sound.	This shows a battered but handsome Peppino smugly aiming his shotgun at the viewer. Lap 2 isn't required.
Let Them Sleep		Activate the alarms in Don't Make A Sound less than six times before the escape sequence.	This shows a sleeping Mushroom Toping Animatronic. There are 5 required alarms, leaving the player with no spare alarms. The alarms in the secrets do not count.
Jumpspared		Avoid getting jumpscared in Don't Make A Sound.	This shows Peppino screaming waving his arms up and down. It is unknown why he is screaming. As being jumpscared takes away the combo, P ranking the level will always fulfill the criteria for this achievement.
Decorated Veteran	WAR	Don't get hurt more than three times in WAR.	This shows Peppino in a military equipment, decorated in badges.
Sharpshooter		Don't miss more than three shots in WAR	This shows Peppino aiming his shotgun against the player as explosions erupt in the background. Shooting downwards counts against this achievement. To progress, you must utilize the Dive Drop.
Trip to the Warzone		Finish WAR with more than a minute left.	This shows Peppino in France, but he doesn't see the nuke that's about to destroy said France. Skipping all secrets is highly recommended, as the timer does not stop in secrets.
Face Off	Pizzaface/Pizzahead	Defeat Pizzaface without getting hurt.	This shows Pizzaface's crust. As Pizzaface doesn't give ranks, this task is basically the equivalent of P Ranking the final boss. This achievement's name appears only after defeating the boss.
S Ranked #5	Staff Only (Floor 5)	Get all S ranks in World 5.	The Crumbling Tower of Pizza does not count. P ranks do count.
P Ranked #5	Staff Only (Floor 5)	Get all P ranks in World 5.	The Crumbling Tower of Pizza does not count. Appears in the Chef Tasks room only after unlocking the achievement.

Tricky Treat[]

	Pumpkin Munchkin	Find all of the hidden pumpkins in the game.	This shows Peppino as a pumpkin. There are 20 pumpkins you can find, one for each level in the game (including The Crumbling Tower of Pizza)
	Tricksy	Get all of the pumpkins in Tricky Treat in one run.	This shows Peppino about to destroy a pumpkin. In the level there are blue and green arrows. Follow the blue arrows first, then green arrows second. Green arrows lead to the further part of the level, blue arrows lead to rooms that, after collecting the pumpkin, will lead you back to the green arrow path anyway.

Cowboy Tasks[]

These achievements are exclusive to SAGE 2019 Demo. There are 9 achievements in total. Getting all of them grants the player a cowboy hat.

	Buy all the shotgun in Snick Challenge.
	Finish Dungeon with a backup shotgun.	This means the player must not get hurt after getting two shotguns, since getting hurt removes a shotgun.
	Get an S rank in every level.

	Get a combo of 10.	This can be done in Pizzascape, in a room right after Tower Secret Treasure room.
	Find all the secrets.
	Finish Pizzascape without knight form.
	Find all the Toppin.

Trivia[]

Many of the Chef Tasks contain a reference of some kind, whether from the icon, the name, or occasionally, even the requirement itself.
- "John Gutted"'s name is a pun off of the level's name, John Gutter.
- The icon for "Primate Rage" is a reference to the "Gorilla Smash PC" meme.
- The icon for "Thrill Seeker" is a reference to the Indiana Jones series, with Peppino resembling the titular character's appearance.
- "Spherical" is likely named after a meme/quote from Drake and Josh.
- "Delicacy"'s requirement of specifically 41 sets of cheeseblocks is in reference to the Quarantuno Formaggi, a type of pizza that has 41 types of cheeses in it.
- The icon for "Very Very Hot Sauce" has Peppino doing the "Smug Face" meme.
- "Ghosted"'s is named after the term of "ghosting" someone, when a person will suddenly stop replying to someone.
- The icon for "Alive and Well" is likely a reference to the Wallace & Gromit series, as the posing and coloration of the alive corpse seem to pay homage to how the duo is posed in promotional art.
- "The Ugly" is named after to the 1966 spaghetti Western film The Good, The Bad And The Ugly.
- "Turbo Tunnel" is named after an infamous stage of the same name in the Battletoads NES game, in which the player must avoid crashing into a series of walls at high speed.
- "Blast'Em Asteroids" references the arcade game Asteroids, and its signature graphical style.
- The icon for "Primo Golfer" is a possible reference to the meme / front cover of Superman's Action Comics #454, in which he is seen eating an absurd amount of burgers, though its not exact.
- "Denoise" is named after Denoising, the process of removing digital noise from a picture. Its also a pun on how the Noise's name would be pronounced in a stereotypical Italian accent, "De-Noise".
- "Food Clan" is named after the Foot Clan, an evil organization from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
- The icon for "Unflattening" is a reference to Tom and Jerry.
- The icon for "There Can Be Only One" is a reference to the Terminator series, with Peppino resembling the T-850 when partially destroyed, while the name of the achievement is a reference to the movie Highlander.
- "Faker" could be named after or at least inspired by the infamous scene in Sonic Adventure 2 where Sonic meets Shadow, stating "I found you, faker!"
- The icon for "Cross To Bare" is a reference to the Grand Cross from Castlevania, one of Richter Belmont's iconic moves that even made it into Super Smash Bros as a Ultimate.
- "Ice Climber" is named after the video game Ice Climbers. In the icon, Peppino also bears a resemblance to Popo and Nana from the same franchise, as well as having an eggplant, one of the vegetables found in the game, on his head.
- "And This... Is My Gun On A Stick!" is a reference to the 1993 film Army of Darkness, a spin on the quote "This is my Boomstick!" In the icon, Peppino also somewhat resembles the main character, Ash Williams.

The icon for "Jumpspared" is a reference of one of the mcpig's doodles.
"Let's Make This Quick" and "Trip To The Warzone" are the only two time-related Chef Tasks.
Completing all 72 Chef Tasks, along with getting a P-rank in every level, grants 1% to the Tower Status (allowing the percentage to reach 101%).
The first three backgrounds used in the Chef Task rooms were repurposed from the unused level Space Pinball, and the one used in Slum is from Kung Fu, which is also unused.
- This is why in the first Chef Task room's background, every Toppin but the pineapple use their old designs.
According to Steam, John Gutted has the highest clear rate, with an 89.3% rate, while P-Rank #5 has the lowest, with 7.8%.
- Excluding P-Rank Chef Tasks, the task with the lowest clear rate is S Ranked #5, with a 9.7% clear rate.
