Yall have technically seen it before, but its name is Deertracks and its a wendigo looking fucker with a cape, but I have 2 ideas for lore and I cant choose which is better

Option 1. Pursuer-like route

Deertracks was originally a wild animal, only of its kind and undying for even decades, living off of the mountains it would patrol, until one day, a lone deer hunter found its trail before the show could hide it, following its footsteps before encountering the creature, instead of fear, he approached the monster with cation, befriending it and giving it a custom made knit blanket to keep it warm. One day, The hunter was out in the mountains with a friend, until it found his trail and went to see him. The Hunter's friend, startled by the creature, quickly shoots it with the hunter's rifle. This was the first time Deertracks was hurt, and it believed itself betrayed by the hunter, now full of fear and terror, It crushed the shooter and began chase with the hunter, with him barely able to get away, Deertracks now stalks the mountains, killing anything that it deems a threat and searching for that traitor it called its friend

There once was a hunting group that would often go out to shoot deer every winter, it was small and close knit, until one day, A younger sibling of one of the hunters was forced to come along by their parents, The hunter hated his brother, he was clumsy and constantly gave away where they were, scaring away even the easiest of deer to shoot, This all came up to one night, Where the sibling had broken a glass by accident, and the hunter yelled at him for his stupidity and clumsiness, and when that wasn't enough to make him feel better, he punched the sibling in the eye, causing him to run out of the camp grounds and into the woods, But with only a large blanket against the raging snowstorm, The Sibling didn't stand a chance against the mountains, Dying in the snow.

Yet he awoke still, he was different, he couldn't see a difference, but he felt larger, stronger and as if a large skull was placed upon his head. Feeling that he could make it up to his brother, he walked back to campsite, but when he saw one of the hunters, he was disgusted. They werent ugly, but they weren't right. They were beautiful, but wrong. He could fix this, he couldn't fix the cup, but he can fix this, surely. But the man was nothing to the siblings new brute strength, and died after a crush, But he was fixed. The sibling had a goal now, Fix everything, Fix everything until there was nothing broken left, And he will fix his brother.
